February forecasts of increased strawberry volume brought on by good weather holds true. The warm temperatures have brought on a blistering volume of large sweet berries. Our growers are hoping that the climate will remain mild enough to market great berries for months to come.
FDS has responded to the increased strawberry volume by ramping up production from two to three shifts on our thermoforming and labeling lines. We have been receiving emergency requests to fill next day orders many times a week and have delivered.
